HOME LIFE:  Tanza was born in Riverton, UT. She married Michael Tupola in June 2010. Michael is involved with our club program as the strength and conditioning coach. She has a cat name Fergie.

EDUCATION: Tanza graduated in 2011 with a degree in general studies with an emphasis is education and a minor in coaching.

​

VOLLEYBALL CAREER: Tanza played volleyball for Riverton High School and then went on to play at Brigham Young University-Hawaii for four years. She played middle blocker at BYU-Hawaii and was second in the nation for blocks her junior year and made it in the top ten for career blocks.  She holds several BYU-Hawaii volleyball school records.

 

COACHING CAREER: After completing graduation, Tanza immediately started coaching. She has been coaching ever since at various high schools and club for Club V and Mountain Peak Volleyball. She has coached all ages from age 6 to age 18, boys and girls. She is currently the freshman coach at Green Canyon High School.
